All year round, directly from the Stodingerhütte, there are opportunities for hikes and bike/ski tours in the beautiful area around Gaisberg and Nockstein.
Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the house.
Summer
In addition to hikes, extensive exploration tours in the city of Salzburg and the Salzburg area, especially the Salzkammergut. The nearby Fuschlsee is ideal for a relaxing day of swimming. It
takes about 15 minutes by car to get from the Stodingerhütte to Lake Fuschl; Lake Wolfgang is just a little further. Further information on gastronomy, public and private bathing areas at the

Winter
In winter you can toboggan directly from the house. 2 children's practice lifts are nearby (5 minutes by car). A great ski area with modern lifts and pistes for a wide range of demands can be found only about 20 minutes by car from the Stodingerhütte in the Gaissau-Hintersee ski area.
